About The Hundred of Hoo Sailing Club
Hundred of Hoo Sailing Club is a welcoming, member-run community where boaters of all kinds come together to enjoy the river. Whether you’re into sailing, motorboats, dinghies, speedboats, or RIBs, there’s a place for you here. Our members range from their twenties to their eighties, each bringing their own experiences and love for life on the water. It’s not just about boating, it’s about the friendships and shared knowledge that come with it.
The Clubhouse is the heart of it all. A cosy spot to relax with a cuppa, grab some lunch, and catch up with fellow members. It’s where we hold meetings, social events, and our much-loved Annual Quiz Night. Attached to the clubhouse are toilet and shower facilities, making it easy to freshen up after a day on the river.
For those with boats, the club has moorings available, with some pontoon moorings too. We also offer haul-out and launch facilities, along with storage areas, a workshop, and a slipway for easy launching. Members can lay up their boats over winter, keeping them safe and secure on site.
Hundred of Hoo Sailing Club is a great place to keep your boat, with a strong community, solid facilities, and plenty of people who share your love for being on the water. If you’re looking for a club that’s well-equipped, friendly, and built around real boating life, we’d love to have you aboard.
